SPEECH

We talk to people everyday, but the difference between randomly speaking to people and giving a speech is that when you give a speech, you have a deliberate, and sometimes large audience. The audience exists to hear you tell them something, so the purpose of a your speech is grounded in inspiring, informing, persuading, commemorating or entertaining. Also, in order to maintain the interest of your audience, consider using literary devices like repetition, rhetorical questions, alliterations and parallelisms.
